The Regulatory Mix, TMI’s daily blog of regulatory activities, is a snapshot of PUC, FCC, legislative, and occasionally court, issues that our regulatory monitoring team uncovers each day.
The FCC announced the agenda and panelists for its July 10, 2013, workshop to examine and analyze policy issues related to Inmate Calling Services. The workshop will consist of three panels entitled “Consumers and Public Policy”; “State Actions to Reform Inmate Calling Services Rates”; and “Providing Inmate Calling Services”.
In addition to the panels, the workshop will include remarks from FCC Acting Chairwoman Mignon Clyburn, FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel, FCC Wireline Competition Bureau Chief Julie Veach, and US Representatives Bobby Rush and Eleanor Holmes Norton.
