Reminder – all network preparation for the implementation of the 959 NPA overlay should be completed by August 30, 2014 Since ten-digit dialing is already mandatory in the area served/to be served by the 860 and 959 NPAs, no permissive dialing period is required in preparation for the NPA overlay.

Oklahoma
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission amended its wireless ETC rules in order to clarify the rules and establish minimum standards for wireless Lifeline services. The amendments better define terms, add new terms, and update the statutory citations within the rules. See TMI Regulatory Bulletin dated 8/23/13.
