the regulatory mix

The Regulatory Mix, TMI’s daily blog of regulatory activities, is a snapshot of PUC, FCC, legislative, and occasionally court, issues that our regulatory monitoring team uncovers each day. Depending on their significance, some items may be the subject of a TMI Regulatory Bulletin.

The PUC is investigating applicability of the Right-of-Way rules to commercial mobile radio service carriers. See the Regulatory Mix dated 9/10/14. The ALJ has released information regarding the agenda, format, and other details regarding the informational workshop that will be held on November 4 and 5, 2014. The primary focus of the workshop is the informational reports that will be filed and served on October 21, 2014, by AT&T Mobility, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, San Diego Gas & Electric Company, Southern California Edison Company, and possibly other parties. Any party who plans to attend the workshop must send an email to the service list by October 28, 2014. Parties that wish to make a presentation should notify the ALJ at least three business days in advance via an email to the service list.

District of Columbia

The PSC of the District of Columbia adopted amendments to Chapter 13, “Rules Implementing the Public Utilities Reimbursement Fee Act of 1980,” Chapter 25, “Certification of Local Exchange Service Providers,” and Chapter 27, “Regulation of Telecommunications Service Providers” of Title 15 of its regulations (DCMR).
