Allconnect’s Guide to Internet Resources for Native Americans
The first participants began enrolling in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program) in mid-May and now exceeds 3 million households. Yet as of July 2, only 75,880 households on Tribal lands have enrolled in the EBB Program despite Native American’s qualifying for the program at much higher rates. To help raise awareness about the availability of the EBB Program to Tribal communities, Allconnect has published an educational guide with very useful tools that include:

Georgia Amends ETC Rules
The Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC) adopted additional amendments to its rules governing eligible telecommunications carriers (ETCs). The change adds a new reporting obligation to submit certification to the PSC prior to August 1 of each year. Nevada Governor Approves Bill Creating Grant Program for Broadband Infrastructure
Bill No. 388, approved by the Governor on June 8, requires the Director of the Office of Science, Innovation and Technology (the Director) to administer a program of infrastructure grants for the development of broadband for low income and rural areas of the state. The bill also requires the State Treasurer to establish by regulation a program for voluntary customer contribution for broadband infrastructure.
