FCC Application FeesThe FCC has announced new application fees to become effective 30 days after publication in the Federal Register. Application fee increases will impact Schedules of Charges for wireless, experimental radio, wireline, enforcement, international, international telecommunications and Homeland services.

 

The FCC conducts a bi-annual review and adjustment of its Schedule of Charges for Applications (47 CFR §§1.1102-1.1109). With this latest order, the FCC has increased application fees to reflect the net change in the Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers of 8%. The Schedule of Application Fees includes the following common fee charges:

The new application fees will take effect thirty (30) days after publication in the Federal Register. If you’re waiting to make a particular federal filing, you may want to go ahead and file before the application pricing increase.
